Ghost & Grill

My art shows a ghost opening and grill in my backyard. The main thing of my art is the ghost. The title of my artwork is "Ghost & Grill"and the most obvious element is the grill, because it stands out as realistic next to an unrealistic object.
I made this art piece from acrylic paint and drew the numbers on the clock with a marker.
I used a picture I took of myself with a sheet as a project for halloween. I tried to make the ghost look a little scary.
I'm trying to get better at painting with acrylic paint and making the objects three dimensional. This painting helped me reach my goals of making the grill three dimensional because I used the light and the shadow perfectly.
When creating this artwork, I learned how to properly layer paint so I could have a good dimensional figure. This piece will influence my future work because I will paint the lightest layers first and slowly get darker to achieve the best dimensions of the figure I'm painting.
