Printmaking

I chose this image for my valentine card because we got the sports theme and my main and favorite sport is swimming.
I chose this image because I knew no one would choose it and it's my favorite sport so I wanted to show what I loved through the valentines lolita cards.
The hardest part in the printmaking process would have probably been the time carving the little watermarks, just because it was very time consuming and I had a hard time getting all the tiny spots while carving the water. I initially wanted to make the water splashes just outlined in black so I could color the inside of them black but it was too small to do
that so I just kept it black but it came out pretty well.
One thing I would change about my print would to add a more detailed background and just overall make it look more realistic with the details.
